Nature
Shetland is famous for its seabirds and there are plenty to see throughout the islands from Gannets at Hermaness in the very North to Puffins at the lighthouse at Sumburgh Head in the South.
There are Ottters Aboot but they are very shy animals but on calm days if you keep your eyes peeled out over the water, hopefully you will get lucky.
Orcas and Humpback Wales are now frequent visitors to the islands at different times of the year and there are companies that organise boat trips to help you get closer.
